At 2nd2NUNN Sports, we believe in addressing the full scope of an athlete's well-being, which includes their mental health. Our youth mental health and mentoring services are focused on providing support, guidance, and counseling to help our young athletes thrive emotionally, socially, and mentally.
Goal: To offer safe spaces for athletes to express their feelings, build emotional resilience, and learn healthy coping mechanisms.
Sessions: Individual and group counseling with trained mentors and mental health professionals.
Focus Areas: Emotional well-being, social development, self-esteem, handling stress and anxiety, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Traditional Mentoring: One-on-one support focusing on personal development, goal-setting, and mental resilience.
Group & Team Mentoring: Small group discussions aimed at peer support, leadership development, and enhancing social skills.
Life Skills Development: Teaching practical life skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.
Integration of Mental Health & Fitness: Activities and exercises that promote mindfulness, meditation, and positive self-image, supporting the athlete's overall well-being.
